Carly hosts her own home-grown web show, iCarly. She lives with her twenty-something brother/guardian Spencer and produces her Web casts from a makeshift third-floor loft studio. Grappling with adolescence, she never aimed to gain fame as a rising star/underground celebrity to kids. As events unfold in the pilot, it all happens by accident when a teacher puts her in charge of the school talent show. She and her sassy best bud Sam turn the audition process into a show, which Carly's tech savvy smitten friend Freddie tapes - including their hilarious banter and great chemistry - and posts on the Web without telling the girls. The on-line audience clamors for more, and a pop phenomenon blooms, with Carly and sidekick Sam's regular Web casts ultimately featuring everything from comedy sketches and talent contests to interviews, recipes, and problem-solving. Jerry Trainor returns to portray a character not of, but similar to, Spencer Shay. Instead he plays Vinnie, the eccentric owner of a pop culture memorabilia store in Los Angeles, whose breaks are spent only reading comics and playing video games. Soon, his 12-year old nephew, Wendell, pays him a visit. From that moment forward, Vinnie's life is turned upside down: he assumes legal guardianship over Wendell. Wendell is wise-beyond-his-years, while Vinnie is clueless, but with the help of his sister (Wilma, a frightening personal injury attorney), the girl next door (Taryn, a newly-divorced Texan girl of Vinnie's dreams) and Wendell himself, he finally gets the hang of it and does whatever he can to make a fine father. T.U.F.F. Puppy is an American animated television series created by Butch Hartman for Nickelodeon. It premiered on October 2, 2010 on Nickelodeon along with Planet Sheen. T.U.F.F. Puppy is Butch Hartman's third animated series for Nickelodeon, after The Fairly OddParents and Danny Phantom. In early 2011, the series was renewed for a second season and premiered on December 10, 2011. The first season contained 20 episodes and seasons 2 and 3 are scheduled for the same. Currently, the series is on hiatus from the Nickelodeon channel, although reruns air every day in 90 minute to 3 hour blocks on the Nicktoons channel. The show temporarily returned on August 5, 2013 at 1:30 PM for one week before going back on hiatus.
